2. How can I sign up?

3. What information do I need to provide during registration?

You should provide:

1. First and last name
2. Your work email with the shell.com domain

You will be also asked to create password (please remember it!)

4. Can employees on various types of leave participate in the event?

Yes, with the exception of sick leave – employees on sick leave on the day of the event cannot take part in it

5. I am the manager of an employee who is on long-term leave without access to their work email. How can I help this employee register for an event?

Collect a list of such employees (first name, last name, and work email address) and send it to the distribution list below, with the subject of the email: ” List of my team members.” 

Please use this email subject title, otherwise the message may not be properly registered!

6. Will I receive any confirmation after signing up?

Yes, you will receive a confirmation on the website immediately after signing up, a confirmation email to the address provided during registration, and a few days before the Party, you will also receive a QR code that will allow entry to the event.

7. When and how will I receive the QR code?

You will receive it by email a few days before the event when registration lists are already closed.

8. Is there a limit on the number of people who can sign up for the event?

Based on statistics from previous events, we have determined the number of available spots at 60% of all employees.

9. What will happen if I don’t make it onto the registration list?

You will be placed on the waiting list. Individuals on the waiting list will have the opportunity to sign up for the event after the main registration list is closed, but only if a sufficient number of spots become available.

10. When is the deadline for registration?

The registration window is open from 10.07.2023 to 18.08.2023

11. If I signed up but can’t attend, should I unregister?

Yes, definitely. It is necessary for two reasons: Firstly, if registered individuals don’t show up at the event, the food prepared for them will go to waste. Secondly, due to the limited number of spots, by signing up and not attending, you are taking a spot from someone else. Therefore, we kindly request responsible behavior and understanding.

12. How can I unregister?

The possibility of unregistering from the event will be made available soon. Information on how to do it will be sent in an email between July and August.

13. What do I need to do to be allowed entry to the event?

To participate in the event, you should:

1. Sign up through the website: Welcome! – Water World – Shell All Staff Party 2023! (bluplatform.io)
2. Present your ID and QR code at the reception during the check-in (by ID we understand ID card, passport, driver’s license). The reception desk will not verify you based on your Shell Smart Card and for safety reasons please do not bring it to the event.

14. What is the theme of the event?

Water World: It’s a world where you’ll have a fantastic time, surrounded by shimmering lights reflecting on the water’s surface, the relaxing melodies of the harp, refreshing splashes from the waterfall, and the lively rhythms of the beach. Delicious food, colorful drinks, and great fun await you, along with several modern photo booths where you can capture the essence of your party mood! Join us on this extraordinary journey and let the wonders of Water World captivate your senses.

15. What is the dress code for the party?

Evening or cocktail attire is required.
It is allowed to make subtle adjustments to your outfit in line with the party’s theme – using clothing elements, makeup, or hairstyle. Just remember to stay in tune with the evening’s dress code and show consideration for your colleagues celebrating alongside you.

16. Can I come by car?

We recommend using a taxi or public transportation.

17. Will the parking be provided for event participants?

Parking will be not provided by the organizers during the event.

18. Can I bring a guest who is not an employee of SBO Krakow or Shell Polska?

No, the event is exclusively for employees of the groups mentioned above.

19. What type of food will be served during the event?

Finger food and a warm buffet. There is no need to inform us about your dietary restrictions. Our catering provider will make sure that everyone will find something sufficient for their diet. All ingredients will be listed on the buffet tables. 

19. Will alcohol be served at the party?

Yes, participants will receive drink coupons for four alcoholic beverages per person. Each coupon entitles you to one alcoholic drink.

20. Can I purchase additional alcohol or bring my own alcohol to the event?

No external alcohol is permitted on the premises, and in the event that any such beverages are brought in, they will be promptly confiscated by our security personnel.
